My Favorite Summer Reads

I’m an avid reader as it is, but in the summers I blow through books on a weekly basis. I’m always looking for book recommendations, so I figured I’d share my favorites with you all!

1. Girl on the Train

I’ve compared this book to Gone Girl, when describing it to friends. This is such an easy read, and I promise you’ll be hooked from the first chapter. The main character of this book will leave you questioning how crazy people are.

2. The Luckiest Girl Alive

From the first paragraph, of the first page, this writer leaves no fashion faux pas behind. This is the modern day Cinderella story, with a lot more scandal. I would say this book is a mash-up of Sex and the City, Gone Girl and PREP. Take this book to your next beach getaway and you will NOT be disappointed.

3. Mystic River

Ok, I know already… this book is old and I’m wayyy behind, but I just decided to read it after seeing the movie at Target. I love thrillers and I love anything Harlan Coben, so this book was right up my alley. Be ready to read some twisted stuff when you start this tale.

4. Holly Madison: Down the Rabbit Hole

Ever wonder what happens behind closed doors at the Playboy mansion? Ponder no more! Holly Madison takes you through her life at the mansion and shows you the good, the bad and the ugly of being a girlfriend to America’s most notorious bachelor. I seriously could not put this book down. You think you understand how things work and then Holly shows you a whole different story.

5. The Stranger

Harlan Coben, you never disappoint me! Another book that will have you guessing “who done it?” from page to page. If you’re looking for a book that’ll have you in a constant state of mystery, without any blood or gore, this is your kind of book.
