Instagram Recap- Ann Arbor Trip!

While visiting my little brother in Ann Arbor this past weekend I stayed at the cutest little boutique hotel, Weber’s Inn. Seriously, if you ever take a trip to Ann Arbor this hotel is a MUST! My suggestion would be to request a room facing the pool, to enjoy a spiral staircase on your balcony that takes you directly down to the indoor pool area. The picture above was taken at brunch Sunday, on the patio of the hotels famous restaurant. I’m loving their black and white patio decor.

My original Gingham 2 piece set is from Necessary Clothing and is totally sold out. Bummer…. But I’ll link some adorable gingham pieces that I’m ga-ga for.

So one thing the blogger in me loved most about Ann Arbor was the amazing back drops for all my Instagram pictures. That’s annoying and I realize that, but it’s the truth and if nothing else, I promise to be an honest blogger, annoying quirks and all. Ann Arbor has some seriously yummy food spots. Here’s some of the places I LOVED:

The Broken Egg, for brunch. Their pancakes come with a HUGE blob of whipped cream on top. Need I say more?

Lena, for dinner. Guacamole and sangria that’ll leave you feeling festive and full!

Kilwans, for ice cream. There’s a Kilwan’s in Winter Park so I knew it would be a reliable post-dinner ice cream stop. Never fails.

Weber’s Inn, for dinner and brunch. YUM! This is connected to the hotel we stayed in and from what the locals said it’s a hopping bar on the weekends thanks to the killer bands they bring in. The food was on point both times we ate there.

Zingerman’s, for breakfast and lunch. We didn’t get a chance to go here because the lines were crazy, but it’s a spot that locals rave about. Definitely on my to-do list for the next time I’m in town.

My mulan hair was perfect after a full day of walking around (a.k.a. too lazy to do my hair for dinner). I simply put my hair in a half up/ half down pony tail with a light hair tie. Then I wrapped my hair around and secured with bobby pins. Perfect for a date night.

When you see a graffiti wall, you take a picture. No if’s and’s or but’s. Also, it was fate, I mean my pants matched the wall! This is one of my favorite little summer combinations because it’s not too heavy yet it can endure the nighttime breezes that blow through up north. I’m telling you all that colored jeans are an investment you won’t regret!

Once again, a perfect backdrop along a random side street of Ann Arbor. Every Instagrammer’s dream. My hair was pretty au natural all weekend (as you can see in my ponytails and mulan buns).
