This past weekend I headed up to DC to celebrate one of my best friends from college’s bday. Our weekend included LOTS of eating, drinking, shopping and catching up. DC is such a fun city, especially when the weather is nice, and it has some of the best little spots to explore. I was supposed to fly home on Monday but last minute figured I’d call to check the status of my flight due to the tropical storm. The customer service rep suggested I get on the next flight to avoid storm delays. I ran to the airport Sunday afternoon only to be delayed for 5 hours. Such a nightmare!
