One thing you can always count on during the holiday season is that office/ company holiday party. Whether you’re attending yourself, or tagging along as a date, there’s always been that inner dialogue of what to wear and how to do my makeup. Here’s my official guide to being holiday party ready.

  1. Head to your nearest Walmart and find the cosmetic aisle.

2. Find the Neutrogena® MoistureSmooth Color Sticks, my personal favorite this holiday season is Pink Nude (100) because it’s subtle, but still gives you a little color. The sticks come in 16 shades so you can find a color for every occasion. Also, nothing is more frustrating than talking to people all night and worrying about chapped looking lips (major pet peeve of mine). With MoistureSmooth Color Sticks you’ll get color and the benefit of moisture.

3. Now that you’ve got a gorgeous lip color, you’ll want Neutrogena® Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to wipe that holiday glam off before hitting the bed. I have super dry skin so these wipes are great for effectively removing makeup in the most gentle way.

Am I the only person who loves keeping makeup wipes in my car and taking all of my makeup off the minute I head home? I’m such a homebody and love nothing more than being comfortable.

4. Now it’s on to picking the perfect outfit. I think you can’t go wrong with black because it’s classic and can be dressed up or down. I know that I was stressing this year prior to my company’s holiday dinner because I didn’t know what the attire was. Cocktail? Dressy? Casual? I ended up going with a black romper and booties for a look that would’ve been considered cocktail or dressy.

5. Never show up to your holiday party empty-handed. Bring your boss a little something, a gift for a white elephant exchange or something to go towards charity. No matter what the gift may be, it’s always good to come prepared. My company chose to bring gifts for children that would be donated to a family in need, this year.

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving week and remember, next time you’re getting ready for a holiday party there’s nothing more classic than a black dress and glam lips.
