No cheetah spots for me, please.

This cheetah coverup is something I would’ve never picked out for myself, but once I threw it on I kind of loved it! I’m the furthest thing from a New Jersey housewife (they’re known to wear the occasional cheetah) so this is super out of my comfort zone. Although I must say that while I’m loving this dress, I’m not loving the sunburns I got growing up that have left me with SO many freckles and moles. Showing some skin this summer is cute, showing damaged skin is not. My new summer motto will be something like, wear cheetah, don’t look like one. I’m old enough now to take responsibility for my skin and make sure I’m not looking like a tan-a-holic when I’m 60.

I think one of the reasons I used to hate sunscreen is the oily residue it left on my skin. My absolute favorite thing about the new Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration™ Line  is that it goes on like a lotion and doesn’t leave any kind of oil trace. Not only does it go on like a lotion, it moisturizes your skin for up to 12 hours, leaving your skin soft as silk. Also, it smells so incredibly yummy, you’ll feel like you’re laying on the beach in Hawaii… a girl can only dream. Even Ryan is using sunscreen now, which is a BIG accomplishment.

I’m sharing Hawaiian Tropic in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™ #HawaiianTropicCrowd

I’ve always been a huge fan of Hawaiian Tropic so I’ll have to give this a go over the summer.
