This is my all-time favorite beach braid, and if you follow me on Instagram you’ve probably seen me wear it a few times, and a few different ways. Sorry for the rough quality… This video was shot quickly before heading to dinner with the fam, but I figured what better place to film a beach braid tutorial than at the beach!? I’m using Barefoot Blonde Hair Extensions in the color Sandy Blonde for this look. I only started wearing extensions about 4 months ago, and the main reason I bought them was to braid my hair with. I LOVE this brand and if you’re thinking about getting them, I only have amazing things to say! (Not sponsored, just really love them!)
Hope you guys aren’t too sick of seeing Nordstrom Sale stuff yet! I keep logging on every day to find new things I want and yesterday I placed a HUGE order for beauty and home stuff. Below you’ll find my favorite perfume, which I got for my birthday 2 years ago and it’s honestly the best smelling perfume I’ve ever owned. You’ll also find a set of Diptyque candles, which can smell up an entire house when burned, seriously amazing!!
I’m always getting questions about my eyelashes and the serum I use is on sale, you’ll get 2 tubes for the price of 1! The rest of the products are ones I’ve been dying to try out or have heard about through bloggers and friends.

One of my favorite weekend activities is brunch… let’s not judge the fact that my activity revolves entirely around food, but I love me some afternoon wine and carb overload. Luckily, Florida has had the most AMAZING weather which has made sitting outside for brunch a must.
Favorite Orlando brunch spots:
White Wolf Cafe
I’m all about being tan but I’m always paranoid about getting sun on my face. Besides wearing lots of summer hats I’ve recently become obsessed with adding Hawaiian Tropic® Silk Hydration™ Face Lotion into my morning makeup routine. I love how it goes on like a lotion but protects like a sunscreen, it’s some kind of magical unicorn sunscreen lotion!
I’m working on a makeup tutorial for my YouTube channel (in the works) and I realized just how many of my skin care and beauty products are from the drugstore. I’m always looking for drugstore products that work just as well as high-end brands, and this Hawaiian Tropic product is no exception. You can pick up Hawaiian Tropic at Walgreens to earn free gift cards by using Shopkick.
My hair before the colorist and stylist worked their magic. It was unruly and my roots had grown out way more than I am proud of.
My hair after! SO much healthier and the colorist toned down my color a little for the spring.
I decided to keep my hair longer, as I always do when I get into the stylist chair. I have had moments of wanting shorter hair, but at the end of the day, once the hair is gone it takes too long to get it back. I’ll cut my hair when I’m a mom one day and don’t want to deal with the fuss of it.
Senior Colorist, Alan, @alan_almada on Instagram
Can’t tell you enough how much I LOVE what Gigi did with my hair. He gave me so much more definition. I have had so many people stop me and ask about my color since going to him. My biggest thing, when it comes to blondes, is looking natural and healthy. My goal is to always have people think I’m naturally blonde. I hate when you can see the lines of highlight in a girls hair. Gigi took my pet peeves and made sure my color turned out even better than I could’ve imagined.
Senior Stylist, Marie, @willowbendlady on Instagram
Marie is another hair angel!! I love how Victoria Secret angels always have those pieces of hair that frame their faces and just seem to wisp around. Marie took exactly what I was looking for and then showed me how to recreate the blow out at home. If you have longer hair, you need to go to Marie.
HUGE shoutout to photographer Jessie, @Jessiedeexx, for documenting my day at Prive. If you make an appointment at the Orlando location, tell them Sweet Tea With Madi sent you and you’ll receive a FREE Kerastase Treatment with any service. Everyone’s always asking about where I get my hair done and what I ask for, now you have all the information you need 🙂

One thing you can always count on during the holiday season is that office/ company holiday party. Whether you’re attending yourself, or tagging along as a date, there’s always been that inner dialogue of what to wear and how to do my makeup. Here’s my official guide to being holiday party ready.
- Head to your nearest Walmart and find the cosmetic aisle.
2. Find the Neutrogena® MoistureSmooth Color Sticks, my personal favorite this holiday season is Pink Nude (100) because it’s subtle, but still gives you a little color. The sticks come in 16 shades so you can find a color for every occasion. Also, nothing is more frustrating than talking to people all night and worrying about chapped looking lips (major pet peeve of mine). With MoistureSmooth Color Sticks you’ll get color and the benefit of moisture.
3. Now that you’ve got a gorgeous lip color, you’ll want Neutrogena® Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to wipe that holiday glam off before hitting the bed. I have super dry skin so these wipes are great for effectively removing makeup in the most gentle way.
Am I the only person who loves keeping makeup wipes in my car and taking all of my makeup off the minute I head home? I’m such a homebody and love nothing more than being comfortable.
4. Now it’s on to picking the perfect outfit. I think you can’t go wrong with black because it’s classic and can be dressed up or down. I know that I was stressing this year prior to my company’s holiday dinner because I didn’t know what the attire was. Cocktail? Dressy? Casual? I ended up going with a black romper and booties for a look that would’ve been considered cocktail or dressy.
5. Never show up to your holiday party empty-handed. Bring your boss a little something, a gift for a white elephant exchange or something to go towards charity. No matter what the gift may be, it’s always good to come prepared. My company chose to bring gifts for children that would be donated to a family in need, this year.
Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving week and remember, next time you’re getting ready for a holiday party there’s nothing more classic than a black dress and glam lips.

I start every morning by waking up my body, then waking up my mouth. Blogging requires so much more energy than most people would think. I always need to be connected and creative in order to keep my blog exciting and bold. In order to live the life I want and enjoy #MyBoldMoments, I need to be alert and ready to go from 9 am on!
My dad, as long as I can remember, wakes up and goes straight into push-ups. He always told me how much better he felt starting off his day with exercise. I decided to start going straight from bed to stretching and I’ve felt a huge difference. My blood gets pumping and I immediately feel more awake. When your body is awake, your mind is awake and you can then take on the day!
I blast my hip hop music and alternate between yoga poses and standing crunches/ jumping jacks. I also love to dance around and pretend I’m in a music video, but I won’t make you watch that…
I finish out my stretching routine with a minute of silence. I’m too anxious to meditate, but one minute is enough to get me focused and relaxed.
Then it’s on to the bathroom to get my mouth and make-up routine going.
Nothing wakes up your mouth, or helps you live boldly, like LISTERINE® Total Care! I’m such a mouthwash fanatic! You guys!! If I forget to brush my teeth or use mouthwash in the morning, I’m so self-conscious for the rest of the day. The best thing I do is wash my mouth out after my morning coffee. Also, I’m a candy fanatic so I use LISTERINE® Total Care to prevent cavities and restore/ strengthen my teeth.
Not sure where to pick up your favorite LISTERINE® product? I hit my local CVS and they have everything I need!
Happy Monday! Hope this routine helps you start out every day a little bolder.
This cheetah coverup is something I would’ve never picked out for myself, but once I threw it on I kind of loved it! I’m the furthest thing from a New Jersey housewife (they’re known to wear the occasional cheetah) so this is super out of my comfort zone. Although I must say that while I’m loving this dress, I’m not loving the sunburns I got growing up that have left me with SO many freckles and moles. Showing some skin this summer is cute, showing damaged skin is not. My new summer motto will be something like, wear cheetah, don’t look like one. I’m old enough now to take responsibility for my skin and make sure I’m not looking like a tan-a-holic when I’m 60.
I think one of the reasons I used to hate sunscreen is the oily residue it left on my skin. My absolute favorite thing about the new Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration™ Line is that it goes on like a lotion and doesn’t leave any kind of oil trace. Not only does it go on like a lotion, it moisturizes your skin for up to 12 hours, leaving your skin soft as silk. Also, it smells so incredibly yummy, you’ll feel like you’re laying on the beach in Hawaii… a girl can only dream. Even Ryan is using sunscreen now, which is a BIG accomplishment.

Happy Hump Day y’all! This week has flown by for me and I’m really looking forward to spending the weekend home, for the first time in a long time!
I thought it’d be nice to introduce you all to some of the bloggers who inspire me daily, whether it’s a new makeup routine or an outfit I would’ve never thought to create. I have a weird obsession with mommy bloggers, not trying to be one anytime soon, but I think they are so fun to follow and their kids are too stinking cute!! I hope you love them all as much as I do.
Emily Ann Gemma, The Sweetest Thing
Her outfits are always AMAZE and I would say most of my shopping list comes from her closet. She’s a big Nordstrom shopper and they do free shipping/ returns so I love to shop her looks and if they don’t look as cute on me I simply return. Also, she has the cutest goldendoodle pup names Fitz, if you follow you’ll see him a lot!
Caitlin Covington, Southern Curls and Pearls
Caitlin also has amazing style, a little more preppy than Emily, but I love it equally. I get a lot of basic pieces from her closet, because this girl knows a good staple piece when she sees it. I have no idea how her hair is always perfectly curled, I wish I could get myself to look that put together everyday, but I applaud her for always looking picture ready. I mean come on, look at her travel outfit, no one looks cute while getting on a plane… or is that just me?
Arielle Noa Charnas, SomethingNavy
Arielle is definitely more high fashion than what I normally follow, but I like to take her looks and see how I can recreate them for less. She just had a baby so her posts are becoming a little more “mommy blogger” but still focused on fashion. You may recognize her from the TRESemme commercials that played non-stop during NYFW (mostly on ENews). If you ever need a good shoe inspiration head over to her blog!
Amber Fillerup Clark, Barefoot Blonde
This is the mommy blogger of all mommy bloggers! Also, she is the absolute queen of braiding hair, one look at her Instagram and you’ll see what I mean. I feel like I know her whole family and their life and what they like to do and eat and where they travel… ya I know way too much… Her and her son, Atticus, have matching Hunter rainboots. Enough said. I promise that you’ll never regret following her. Her posts have only got cuter and cuter as her family has grown.
Katey McFarlan Hellman, Chronicles of Frivolity
Katey is a newlywed and her apartment will give you serious apartment envy. She does a lot of home decor posts and you’ll completely fall in love with her little pup, Peaches. I get a lot of home inspo from her and I love her product posts. Katey’s from Texas, and you’ll notice quickly that a lot of the big bloggers are from the greater Dallas area.
Naomi Davis, Love Taza
Another mommy blogger, don’t say I didn’t warn you! Want to fantasize about living in New York with your family and being super trendy? Just scroll through Taza’s Instagram and you’ll be able to picture what that’d be like. I don’t really follow her for any other reason than to see her adorable family and what they’re up to. Her fashions not really in line with mine but her kids are too cute.
Christine Andrew, Hello Fashion
Christine is a mommy blogger, but a lot of her posts aren’t about the kids. She is one of my biggest style inspirations and her tennis shoes are always on point!! I love how she does her hair in effortless top knots and tousled waves. Also, when she does post about her kids they’re dressed better than most people I know (maybe including myself haha). She doesn’t use LiketoKnow.it, but you can shop her looks on her blog or she’ll link the brand in her Instagram.
This is my go-to makeup routine for running errands or grabbing a quick lunch with friends. Most days you can catch me in my workout gear with a top knot. All products are linked below.
