Here’s an outfit that’s perfect for anyone, of any age, with any style. You can’t go wrong with a mock neck sweater, denim and sneaks. I have seen these Adidas everywhere, usually they have black stripes, and finally went to buy them online. When I saw they had them in gold it was a no brainer. I LOVE them so much more in person and I’ve already worn them so many different ways. I’ll link different colors below because I know gold isn’t for everyone. When ordering make sure to order a full size down as they run extremely big. I’m normally a 7.5 and ordered a 6.5 for perfect fit.
Halloween weekend is practically here and I still have NO costume. I think this means I’m growing up or something… For a while I really wanted to be Eleven, from the show Stranger Things, but didn’t have time to put a whole look together. Trick or treating is way more fun than “adulting”.
A good fitting sweater and skinny jeans can help any girl fake her way into looking fashionable this fall. I love a good neutral sweater because it can be paired with numerous bootie options and neutrals tend to look great on everyone. I used to buy all of these super trendy pieces for my fall wardrobe, and then I’d find myself only wearing them once or twice a year. Now I’ve learned to buy lots of layering pieces and neutrals, that I can mix and match numerous times. One fun way to make your fall wardrobe appear bigger is by loading up on blanket scarves. You can completely transform any look by throwing on a different blanket scarf and a fun pair of statement earrings.
Fall has been super busy for me, between my full-time job and the blog, which is slowly becoming a bigger and bigger workload. When I’m constantly on-the-go I rely on my purse to have everything I could possibly need during the day. I always make sure to carry my sunglasses, lipgloss, phone charger, camera and Tampax Radiant Tampons. When I’m running around taking #ootd, outfit of the day, shots for my social media, I don’t have time to worry about leaks, and now thanks to Tampax Radiant, leak free periods are possible. This fall #WearWhatYouWant and #BeRadiant every day of the month.
I’m sharing #Tampax in my life as part of an #TampaxCrowd sponsored series for Socialstars™ #sp
Florida took its sweet old time, but finally, finally, it’s starting to feel like fall. By fall, I mean temps in the upper 60’s. I swear, when the weather changes in Orlando, there’s a full shift in everyones energy. I love walking outside, down Park Avenue, and seeing all the dogs out and everyone sipping their hot coffee. There’s something so happy about it.
Yesterday was a jam packed Sunday! My mom and I drove over to Tampa to attend a baby shower and then directly from there we drove to an engagement party, for my friend from childhood, which was also in Tampa. It’s so weird to be at that age where every time I turn around my friends are getting engaged, married or pregnant. I wore this look to the baby shower, changed into a sundress for the engagement shower, and it was super comfy! This moto jacket feels like a cozy blanket and better yet, it looks super trendy at the same time! You’ll be seeing a lot of moto jackets this fall so order yours early.
Last night I was able to attend the opening of the new Origins store in Disney Springs! One thing I absolutely love about attending Orlando events is catching up with some of my favorite local bloggers. When we get together it’s selfie central. Normally, selfies don’t really benefit anyone, but with Origins new store that’s not the case. Origins will plant a longleaf pine in Florida State Parks every time someone takes a selfie at their Disney Springs store and tags #KissThePlanet, #OriginsDoGoodCampaign and @Origins. Their goal is to plant 1,000 trees!
The Rituali Tea masks are amazing! My favorite one is in the green tin.
The interior of the store is serious #decorgoals! Loving the neon lights on the subway tile walls.
Head to Origins new store, if you get the chance, and take a selfie/ go ga-ga over their decor!
Sometimes the simplest outfits can be the sexiest. I love a classic white button down shirt, and I love it even more when it’s paired with a really good pair of jeans. And yes, these jeans have been in most all of my posts lately… not ashamed. In college I never wore jeans, like ever. For some reason I got it in my head that jeans weren’t flattering on me, so I only wore leggings, all fall and winter. After college, I finally found one good pair of jeans and just like that, I liked wearing denim again. These Levi’s are so comfy, flattering and don’t stretch (one of my biggest pet peeves with jeans).
Landed back in Orlando last night, and I’m already missing my morning walks down the strand on Manhattan Beach. As I was driving home last night I hit a curb and got the worst flat tire…. what a nice welcome home gift. Back to reality today. Bummer.
I LOVE it here so so much, you guys! The weather has been amazing and it’s been so great to spend time with family. If you follow me on snapchat or IG, then you know I’ve been in Manhattan Beach, CA all weekend celebrating my cousin, Evy, sweet 16. My mom and I flew in on Thursday to surprise her, she had NO idea we were coming, and ever since we’ve been eating, drinking and soaking up family time. Every time I come here I fall more and more in love with California.
I packed so many fall looks to come up here, obviously had to take full advantage of the cooler weather. This sweater (under $30) looks like a designer brand I almost purchased a month ago for over $100. Also, these jeggings come in a few colors and they are beyond comfortable!
I just bought these jeans and let me tell you guys, they are the best!! First off, they’re under $100. Second off, they are on SALE today, making them even more inexpensive. Lastly, they’re Levi’s, so you know they will last forever. I wore this look to dinner last night and it was the perfect look for a fall evening out.
These booties are my new babies. I never splurge on big items, like never, until now… although I have to say I didn’t pay anywhere near full price for this. I just got these in after ordering them used off of Poshmark.com. Better yet, I didn’t have to use any of my own money because I had sold a few things on my Poshmark cloest and made more than these shoes were being sold for. Gotta love a good deal
I’ve always had this theory that I work out harder when I feel cuter. Sounds silly, but I really believe there’s some truth to it. If I’m right, this look is sure to make me work out REALLY hard. I love a good matching set and the material on this one is so soft. Let’s face it… most of the week you can catch me in activewear with an iced coffee in hand, so this pretty much sums up what I really look like most days.
The weather in Orlando this morning is perfect!! Days like this remind me just why I love where I live. I’m off to the mall to check out what kind of Columbus Day deals are happening. Lately, I feel like I need more plain pieces to layer together, so that’s the mission for today.
This cardigan… where do I begin? If you follow me on Instagram you’ve already seen me wear this twice, and I assure you that you’ll see it a million more times through the fall and winter. I’m obsessed with the fit, color and cozy level of this piece. Cardigans are so great because they can totally change the look of any plain old outfit. Load up on cardigans this winter and you can get away with wearing the same blouse and jeans over and over again.
On another note, I survived Hurricane Matthew. I hope everyone on the coasts held up ok and I’m sending lots of love to those who are supposed to get hit next. It wasn’t all that bad, here in Orlando, just lots of wind and rain. Thankfully we never lost power and I officially binge watched all the Netflix shows I’d been meaning to catch up on. One good thing that came from the storm is that it’s actually feeling a little chilly outside!! Maybe there is hope for Florida getting some kind of fall.
